Shelby Brannan
Locally grown (aka born and raised right here in SETX) Shelby Brannan has a background in Theatre and Dance, with a Bachelors degree from Lamar University (Peck ‘Em Cards!) and a Master’s Degree in Strategic Communication from Texas Tech University.
She loves being able to use skills from both of these professions in marketing and social media, and believes it makes her a better creative storyteller.
When she’s not doing what she loves for work, Shelby is out on the town, at the gym, or spending time with her husband and her dog.
Kara Timberlake
A Southeast Texas native, Kara graduated from Lamar University (Go Cards!) in 2016 with a double major in Communications and English.
Currently working at a historic house museum as their communications/marketing manager, she has also served as a public relations coordinator for a local non-profit museum.
Kara is passionate about people & stories. When she’s not promoting the community’s cultural institutions, you can find her reading, hanging out with family, trying new eateries, and spending time with her dog child, Theo.
